Pedigrees are quite necessary in determining the dog's background. Sometimes, many novices do not see the point of buying an English Mastiff with a pedigree, if puppies look OK. They assume that they are forced to pay a higher price for a paper that does not have any value, other than confirmation of the breed.

However, a pedigree is not just a matter of prestige. It gives you evidence that English Mastiff puppies come from reputable breeding lines and do not contain poor genes. Hence, you will avoid health problems in your English Mastiff in the future.
